Brian Cook is a Managing Director in Brookfield¡¯s Energy Group, responsible for portfolio management. In this capacity, Mr. Cook plays leadership roles across risk, HSSE, and integration of new assets. He was previously Chief Financial Officer in Brookfield¡¯s energy marketing group and Senior Vice President, Finance, for Brookfield Renewable Partners.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2008, Mr. Cook held senior finance and investment positions at a major Canadian mutual fund company.

Mr. Cook holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph, the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada. He is also on the investment committee for the Terry Fox Foundation and The Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
