Kumar Shah is Managing Director in Brookfield¡¯s Private Equity Group. In this role, he is responsible for investment origination, analysis and execution.
 
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2020, Mr. Shah was a managing director and founder of a growth-stage investment firm and built the investment programs for growth-stage enterprise and consumer technology investments at Transit Capital, Micromax and GEF Capital.

Mr. Shah holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Mumbai.
